Bay Leaves

Bay leaf, also called laurel leaf, leaf of the sweet bay tree, Laurus nobilis~used to season soups, stews and sauces. It should be used for flavor and not to be eaten, remove before serving. Bay can be beneficial in soothing body aches caused by stiff joints.

Bay Leaves are said to be sacred to the sun god, Apollo. This aromatic leaf brings artistic inspiration. It is a powerful staple in a witch's apothecary. It can be used to promote visions, wisdom, and prophecy.
